Klingspor HST 359 backing pad for self-fastening discs: designed for medium sanding and polishing.
Sanding operations performed with handheld machines at high removal rates are the ideal use scenario for abrasive discs. The most common machines used cases are angle grinders and handheld right angle die grinders. There are two common ways to attach abrasive discs to the backing pad:
Screw connection – the abrasive disc is equipped with a centre threaded hole for this type of attachment
HST 359: Attachment by hook and loop fastening – in this case, the abrasive disc is equipped with a backing made of velour for a hook and loop surface
A backing pad for self-fastening discs such as the Klingspor HST 359 allows for much easier work
The HST 359 is generally suitable for all applications.
